The Design Village

A Tale of the Lost Neighbourhood

A vision for the makers: the power of space planning in redevelopment to replenish the deterioating heritage site, structure, and culture.

This project addresses Chandni Chowk's commercialisation, preserving physical and intangible heritage while redeveloping markets and public spaces. It revives architectural essence, familial memories, and cultural significance, mitigating unintended trade consequences and fostering a vibrant community for Old Delhi.
